Award Winning Zombie Horror Film Comes to Chicago Starting This Weekend!  

MUVICO Theater in Rosemont on May 4 – 10
AMC Cicero 14 in Cicero on May 11 – 17
AMC Galewood 14 in Chicago on May 11 – 17

ZOMBIE DAWN arrives in the Chicago area over the next two weeks! Beginning with the MUVICO Theater in Rosemont for a one week run May 4 – 10.

And in a special offer from MUVICO Rosemont,  any zombie horror fan who comes dressed as a zombie to see the film shall  receive $3 off their ticket price!

Then from May 11-17 ZOMBIE DAWN will rise at the AMC Theater Cicero 14 (in   Cicero)   and Galewood 14 (in Chicago).

In a special   arrangement with ALL theaters, cinema ticket buyers shall receive a FREE limited edition copy of the ZOMBIE DAWN: Safehouse comic book. The complimentary 28 page prequel story comic book was specifically commissioned for the film.

***Along with ZOMBIE DAWN, the award winning computer animated horror short HAMBUSTER will be shown before the main horror feature as an added bonus.

Chicago Halloween 2012 Hallo-Tween At Uncle Fatty

April 28th seems to be a great day in Chicago to start the 2012 Chicago Halloween season; seeing as how it’s halfway to the glorious day we all look forward to!  Uncle Fatty’s is getting in on the mid year Halloween action with their 2012 Hallo-Tween event.  Dust off that ghoulish outfit and come enter into the $250 dollar costume contest. The Modern Day Romeos perform at 9pm so come and grab a 15 dollar 32oz fishbowl drink or 6 dollar tiger blood before the band gets rockin! Chicago Halloween 2011: Statesville Haunted Prison and City of the Dead Discount

If you thought Halloween was over…. THINK again!!!  We are Chicago Halloween Events and we take pride in making sure we cover EVERYTHING Halloween.  It is always our goal to make sure we stay up-to-date on all the horror happenings and haunts in and around the city of Chicago.  This morning, THREE days after the spooky holiday has ended, Chicago Halloween has some exciting news!!!  Statesville Haunted Prison and City of the Dead will remain open through this weekend.  So if you missed all the thrills and frights, you have through Saturday, November 5 to get your scare on… and if you print out the flyer above, you can save $5 off the price of general admission.  Nothing terrifying about that.

Chicago Halloween 2011 has come and gone.  It has been an amazing ride from creating this site and sharing as much information about events, costumes, haunted houses, etc as we could to enjoying as much of the holiday fun as possible.  We celebrated all weekend long as we are sure most of you did, too.  And there was absolutely no way we were going to miss the Northhalsted Halloween Parade on October 31st.  We go every year and it is always the perfect way to say good-bye to Halloween.  Below are some photos from the parade and some of our favorite costumes from the night.  Did you see any great costumes during the Halloween weekend?  Anything you want to share?  We would love to see your favorite ones, too.  Email us at:  info@chicagohalloween.org and we will do one last post in honor of all of our fans and readers showing your photos from Chicago Halloween 2011.  We can’t wait to see them!
